If you’re struggling about what to do for Physical Education, try this on for size. Use your yard or an open field to set up an obstacle course. Use chairs for crawling through, empty cardboard boxes for jumping over, and set up a row of potted plants or something else to run between. If you have old tires, lay those out and have your kids run through them like pro football players do to stay in condition.
Remember to use a timer so they can see their improvement as they run through the obstacle course again and again and keep track. It’s encouraging to know progression is being made. Once they’ve done well, change your course up a bit. Add another box or rearrange what you have. Every time you do, your kids become excited all over again anticipating the new challenge and to see if they can improve even more.
